By accessing or using CastIQ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CastIQ is a fishing companion app that provides weather data, AI-powered fishing recommendations, a personal catch log, community features, and a gear shop. Features vary by subscription tier (Free, Pro, Elite, Family).

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid subscriptions (Pro, Elite, Family) are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.
• All prices are in USD. Applicable taxes may apply.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel, you will not be charged again after the current period ends.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Refund Policy

All subscription purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 14 days of the charge at the email listed below.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any catch logs, photos, or notes you submit ("User Content"). By sharing content to the community map, you grant CastIQ a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the App. You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App's infrastructure.
• You may not share your account credentials with others.
• You may not post offensive, harassing, or misleading content in community features.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Weather data, AI recommendations, and fishing scores are for informational purposes only and do not guarantee fishing success. Always follow local fishing regulations and safety guidelines.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CastIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, personal injury, or property damage during fishing activities.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
